WELL certification provides independent, third-party verification that a building, home or community was designed, built or implemented using strategies that support the health and wellness of its occupants.
Partner Energy provides consulting services to support WELL certification for new and existing buildings, new and existing interiors, and core and shell projects. Pilot programs are also offered for retail, multifamily residential, education, restaurant and commercial kitchen projects.
Beginning in 2020, WELL certification will be offered in conjunction with buildings certified under the 2020 criteria for Enterprise Green Communities.
The WELL Building Standard™ is a third-party building performance measurement system administered by International WELL Building Institute (IBWI™). WELL focuses on the impact of health and wellness through the built environment, using a minimum of seven concepts: air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind. Each concept includes features designed to ensure or improve the health, comfort or knowledge of occupants through design, operations and behavior.
