Tony Liou President Partner EnergyTony Liou


As Principal Engineer and President, Tony is responsible for all operations and sales for Partner Energy. Tony began his career as an Aerospace Engineer with Northrop Grumman. He later worked for Siemens Building Technologies where he was responsible for customer acquisitions, engineering design, and estimating for building automation and controls, fire-life safety and security systems. After graduating from business school, Tony worked as a Senior Associate Director for a private equity firm in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to founding Partner Energy, Tony Liou was a sales and marketing manager for a local energy services company.

Tony holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Cornell University where he graduated cum laude and a MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.

Lance Collins Director Partner EnergyLance Collins



Mr. Lance A. Collins is a Director at Partner Energy with experience in whole building analysis/benchmarking, energy conservation measures, resource consumption reduction strategies, LEED Certification administration, building commissioning, renewable energy project development, and project/construction management. As a licensed architect in the state of California with over 15 years of professional experience in the fields of sustainable design, architecture and urban design, he has provided design and consulting solutions for many different building types including institutional, office, mixed-use, retail, schools, and residential.

In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Collins also is an adjunct professor at Long Beach City College, an education provider for the USGBC, and has guest lectured at a number of other schools, teaching green building principles and sustainable design strategies to young students as well as industry professionals.

Lance holds his B.Arch from Cornell University, his M.Arch II in Urban Design from UCLA, and is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor (CSBA).

Mr. Intveld joined Partner Energy in 2012 as an Energy Engineer. His roles have grown along with the company and is now a Technical Director.  He has extensive experience in project management, new mechanical and plumbing system design and energy efficiency project development.  As a project manager he led multi-discipline project teams while interfacing with clients and successfully maintaining budgets. He designed various building types such as residential, hospitals, educational, central plants, office, retail, entertainment and sporting facilities.

He has been involved in many energy services projects within Sempra Energy Solutions, RealEnergy, Arup, University California, Los Angeles (UCLA) facilities, AESC-Inc and Partner Energy. These include IEEP, RCx Edison, RCx LA County, UC Partnership, SPC, CSI, SGIP, Super ESPC, Savings by Design, cogeneration and LEED programs.

Mr. Intveld earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in the Netherlands. He is a registered Professional Mechanical Engineer in California (license # M31583), an AEE Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and is LEED Accredited Professional. We are happy to have Rob’s technical expertise and project management knowledge directing the Commercial/Industrial Team at Partner Energy!

Kyle Brumfitt Sustainability Consultant Partner Energy Kyle Brumfitt

Mr. Brumfitt is a Director with over nine years of experience in the sustainability service industry. In 2007 he began his career as a Green Building Consultant, working alongside developers, architects, engineers and general contractors. He fostered client relationships in affordable multifamily, market rate multifamily, single family and commercial building sectors. Mr. Brumfitt’s diverse experience includes responsibilities spanning the entire life span of a project, from schematic design through construction completion. As both a LEED for Homes AP and LEED Green Rater, Mr. Brumfitt has led design teams and developers through the certification process on over 50 projects. Mr. Brumfitt has certified over 400,000 SQFT of multifamily and single-family projects as either the LEED Homes AP or LEED Green Rater. His LEED experience ranges from New Construction to Core and Shell and Commercial Interiors. We are happy to have Kyle’s vast project experience and technical knowledge directing the Multifamily Team at Partner Energy!
