National Green Building Standards (NGBS)

National Green Building Standard (NGBS) is a green building certification administered by Home Innovation Research Labs.

Partner Energy can assist owners in receiving certification of their multifamily or mixed use complex, or land development for achieving high performance in six key areas:

1. 1. Lot design, preparation, and development;
   2. Resource efficiency;
   3. Water efficiency;
   4. Energy efficiency;
   5. Indoor environmental quality; and/or,
   6. Operation, maintenance, and building owner education.

NGBS certification demonstrates to potential buyers that your property is a sustainable building with low operating costs. There are various certification levels available. NGBS certification is recognized by HUD financing, Fannie Mae Green Rewards, Freddie Mac Green Advantage, and CTCAC.
