Partner Energy, headquartered in Torrance, CA is growing and we are pleased to announce the addition of our Sacramento office. Partner Energy’s Director of Operations, Scott Blunk, leads the Sacramento staff, which includes Joshua Pereira, Mitch Richards, Matthew Smith, and Hope Colitz.
Pivotal to Partner Energy’s continuing expansion in the northern California market, Mr. Blunk is a distinguished expert in existing multifamily energy efficient retrofits. The depth of his knowledge comes from his work as a general contractor, real estate broker, as well as a HERS I and II Rater, GreenPoint Rater and LEED Rater. He has extensive experience conducting energy audits for a variety of multifamily energy efficiency programs including CTCAC/CDLAC, SMUD Multifamily Home Performance Program, Clean Energy Sacramento by Ygrene and the San Diego Multi-Family Energy Efficiency Rebate Program. He has performed energy assessments and energy upgrades on hundreds of buildings including municipal, commercial, multifamily, and single family residences.
In the Sacramento office, Mr. Blunk is supported by promising and seasoned energy consultants. Mr. Pereira is a recent graduate from Pennsylvania State University where he completed a double major in Energy Engineering and Energy Business & Finance. He is both an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and LEED Green Associate, and will be working on all facets of multifamily energy assessments, modeling and report writing as an Energy Engineer.
Mr. Smith, a graduate of Los Rios Community College, will be working on multifamily energy assessments as an Assistant Energy Engineer. He is a BPI certified building analyst and is knowledgeable in building science.
As the Field Manager, Mitchel L. Richards will be managing the field operations for Partner Energy, scheduling site visits as well as performing Combustion Appliance Safety (CAS) and HERS testing for clients. Mr. Richardson brings several years of experience in the construction and energy testing industry.
Ms. Colitz is an experienced building scientist and professional trainer. She will help the team create and deliver many building science training courses and provide support to the multifamily team.
