Partner Energy worked with the Township to develop a solar photovoltaic installation at the Brick Township Landfill on Sally Ike Road. The closure plan for the Landfill, a former Superfund site, called for the closed site to generate energy for the benefit of the community. Partner Energy developed construction and bid documents, and administered and monitored the installation. Testing and verification of the system was executed as per the submitted Commissioning Plan and design documents. The installed system includes 19,100 PV ground mount modules installed on the capped landfill, as well as associated combiner boxes, inverters, transformers, and reporting and control systems. The combined system capacity is 4.6 MW.
