Colorado Natural Gas offers the Excess is Out Program for residential and commercial customers in Colorado.

Residential Customers

For residential customers, begin by requesting a free energy audit from Colorado Natural Gas. This service offers a complete evaluation of your home's energy efficiency. The auditor will install natural gas conservation measures at no cost to you. To be eligible for an audit customers must meet the following criteria:

  • You are a residential customer of Colorado Natural Gas
  • Your home is heated with natural gas
  • Your home is at least 10 years old
  • You have not received an audit from this program within the past 5 years

Commercial Customers

Commercial Customers are eligible for walk-through energy efficiency audits that include the installation of weatherstripping, faucet aerators, shower heads, and spray valves at no cost.
