Elk River Municipal Utilities - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Elk River Municipal Utilities offers a variety of rebates to commercial, industrial, and agricultural customers for the installation of specific energy-efficient equipment. Rebates are available for new and retrofit lighting projects, premium efficiency motors, adjustable speed drives, food service equipment, geothermal heat pumps, economizers, chillers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and custom measures. Rebates are prescriptive and total rebate amounts are limited to $30,000. Interested customers should submit application forms (located on the program website) along with the necessary worksheets and itemized equipment invoices. The installation must be complete before funds will be issued.

Custom grants are available for process and equipment changes that are not covered by prescriptive programs such as the HVAC, lighting, or Variable Frequency Drive rebates. All custom rebates require pre-approval but can provide significant dollars to help offset the cost of the new, efficient equipment or changes to the manufacturing process used every day in your business.
