The Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) program is designed to provide cost-share funds or reimbursements for direct current fast charger equipment with priority given to EVSE stations located along highways and interstates.
The program has been managed by the Office of Energy and Mineral Resources (OEMR) and the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) since 2017 with funding from the Volkswagen Settlement. In July 2022, the program ended, having awarded $2.6 million in funds to 12 recipients across the state.
