Georgia Power offers incentives for its commercial customers to purchase certain energy-efficient equipment. Preapproval is required for all projects. See the program website for complete details. Eligible prescriptive project types include water heaters, business equipment, pumps, food service and groceries, heating and cooling, and lighting retrofits for existing and new buildings. For Custom Savings, business owners must apply and receive preapproval before purchasing the equipment. Eligible Custom Savings project types include chiller replacements, advanced lighting controls, energy management systems, controls for HVAC systems, and more.

The Small Commercial Direct Install Program is also available to small commercial customers, where Georgia Power performs a no-cost lighting assessment and will pay up to 70% of energy-efficiency upgrades for participating customers. The program is available to Georgia Power commercial customers with an annual peak demand of 120 kW or less.
