Partner Energy’s commitment to serving the commercial real estate industry with energy efficiency engineering and sustainability consulting services is second only to our commitment to the health and wellbeing of our employees. We are taking steps to ensure we can continue providing services responsibly while protecting our staff, clients, and other business partners during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Our Commitment to Deliver Services

Partner Energy maintains qualified staff in New York/New Jersey and California and a pool of vetted contractors across the country. Our affiliated company, Partner Engineering and Science, Inc., maintains offices nationwide that can provide infrastructure support for our projects.

As the situation evolves, Partner Energy will bring our client-centric approach to address the challenges this pandemic may impose on projects, such as turnaround times, travel for site visits, and access to specific regions or facilities. We are committed to minimizing such impacts to our clients while acting responsibly to safeguard our employees’ health and wellbeing.

Protecting Our Staff, Clients, Business Partners and Others

As many of our services require travel and in-person interaction, we have implemented measures to ensure that all our employees, clients, and other business partners remain safe. These measures include (not an exhaustive list):

  • Extensive communications to our staff about routine precautions as recommended by the CDC, particularly good hygiene practices while on-site, traveling, or in public places.
  • Advising staff to stay home if they are sick, and to follow CDC guidelines on what to do if they think they may have been exposed.
  • If an employee has recently traveled to a high-risk area, we ask that they self-quarantine during the 14-day window following such travel.
  • In addition to paid sick leave, employees covered by Partner Energy benefit programs have access to virtual doctor visits via a phone app.

Technology Enhanced Site VISITS for Safety Purposes

Partner Energy is prepared to offer alternative approaches to conducting site visits at properties where access may be limited in order to safeguard higher-risk individuals (e.g., senior living facilities) or for other reasons. These approaches will vary, depending on the service to be performed, and the property type and location.

Overcoming Information Limitations

As some state and municipal governments across the country scale back office operations, reduce public access or shut down offices entirely, Partner Energy’s access to certain information may become limited or delayed. We will communicate and address these challenges with our clients on a case by case basis.

Communication is Key

Throughout this evolving situation, Partner Energy is committed to frequent, responsive, and open communications with our clients.
