Kurt D’Angelo is an Energy Engineer III at Partner Energy and oversees East Coast operations from our Newark office. Kurt has more than seven years of professional experience providing HVAC design consulting, project management and energy efficiency services for clients with multifamily and commercial properties. His technical expertise is focused on existing building energy performance and includes energy auditing, energy modeling and analysis, HVAC system optimization, and retro-commissioning.
Kurt manages projects to ensure compliance with state and local energy ordinances, such as New York City Local Law 87. He also provides incentive acquisition support for state and local programs, such as NYSERDA’s Multifamily Performance Program (MPP) and New Jersey’s Pay For Performance Program (P4P). In addition to state and local projects, Kurt has executed hundreds of nationwide energy audits for clients seeking competitive low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) funding, agency green lending through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) financing.
