Landmark Venues, a premier event and hospitality company, retained Partner Energy to provide SBA 504 Green Loan support that helped them secure financing to build a waterfront event center in New Jersey. Located at the foot of Chapel Avenue in Jersey City, North River House was built as a banquet space accommodating up to 500 guests.
The client provided Partner Energy with building plans and specific information about the project’s size, HVAC system, operating characteristics, operating equipment loads, and renewable energy preference. From the information provided, Partner Energy created an energy model that modeled the energy consumption of the building. Based on modeling analysis results, a Ground Source Heat Pump (geo-thermal) system was sized to meet the SBA’s 10% renewable energy generation threshold. A report of these findings was submitted to the SBA as part of the loan approval process and was in integral part in helping the client achieve their financing goals.
