Partner Energy is an approved ENERGY STAR® Partner. We have performed hundreds of ENERGY STAR®  building certification projects and have benchmarked thousands of buildings for our clients.

The ENERGY STAR® mark conveys superior energy performance and a commitment to using resources responsibly to tenants, customers, and employees. Highlighting the ENERGY STAR® certified buildings in your portfolio sends a positive message to lenders, appraisers, owners, investors, and potential tenants or customers.

The ENERGY STAR® Building Certification Programs

• ENERGY STAR® for Existing Buildings recognizes buildings that achieve an ENERGY STAR® Statement of Energy Performance (SEP) Score of 75 or higher. This means they are in the top 25% for energy efficiency in the nation compared with similar buildings—and are professionally verified as meeting current indoor environmental standards.
• ENERGY STAR® Multifamily High-Rise certification is achieved by designing or rehabilitating your building to meet an energy efficiency of 15% or more than a building built to code. New construction projects should have measures such as efficient building envelopes, heating and cooling systems, and high-performance windows.
• ENERGY STAR® Certified Homes and apartments are at least 10% more efficient than homes built to code and achieve a 20% improvement on average. A complete package of building science measures will achieve this level of performance including thermal enclosure, heating and cooling system, water management, energy efficient lighting, and appliances.

ENERGY STAR® is widely used by local, state and federal programs including AB 802, Fannie Mae Green Financing, Freddie Mac Green Advantage, and HUD Financing.
