On October 23rd Alliance Property Group Inc. will celebrate the Grand Opening of Mountain Breeze Villas.
Partner Energy and sister company Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. worked together to provide due diligence and energy services for a168-unit affordable multifamily property in Highland, CA.
Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. provided the Green Physical Needs Assessments (PNA) in compliance with CalHFA and California Tax Credit Allocation Committee sustainability requirements and the Seismic Risk Assessment. In collaboration with ongoing building management services, Partner Energy evaluated a suite of potential measures that would meet the energy savings goals for Mountain Breeze Villas. Partner Energy also conducted HERS verification at the property for code compliance.
Subsequently, Partner Energy performed a comprehensive retrofit which achieved over 15% modeled energy savings and helped qualify the project for the Southern California Edison-SoCal Gas Multifamily Rebate Pilot Program. The energy efficiency measures, which include new windows, Energy Star appliances, HVAC and water heaters, will be eligible for an anticipated rebate of approximately $135,000. In addition, Partner Energy connected the project to Edison’s multifamily free lighting program to replace inefficient lighting with high-efficiency lighting products at no cost to the owner.
